I’ve been interested in all the creative things that can be done with food since I was very young, and I’ve been making up recipes most of my life. Sometimes I cook for a restaurant, but usually I just cook at home for me and my friends. I love making things instead of buying them, preserving, and other such things. I’m forever on the hunt for the perfect bread recipe. I love historical cooking, as well. I am vegetarian, but I cook meat on occasion for other people.
I live in rural New York, with my boyfriend, Eric, and two dogs. If i’m not cooking, I’m indulging in my other loves, reading, knitting and related fibery pursuits. My photography, however, is a major work in progress!
